HOW IT WORKS

The Casting Trigger mounts near the reel in a position that's comfortable for your hand.

Secure it to the rod with electrical tape or suitable cable ties, leaving enough clearance for the reel's bail arm to rotate freely.

To cast:

Set your normal casting drop.
Open the bail arm.
Pass the line around the trigger's metal capstan.
Hold the trigger down to secure the line.
Make your normal casting motion.
Release the trigger at your normal release point.

The trigger takes the pressure that would normally be carried by your casting finger.

Start with a lighter sinker and controlled casts until using the trigger becomes familiar.
