RIG IT THE WAY THE FISH WANT IT

One of the strengths of a split-tail soft plastic is that you're not locked into one retrieve or one rigging method.

Jig head

Rig it on a standard jig head for general estuary and shore fishing.

Use short twitches to make the lure kick from side to side, then pause and let it fall.

A lighter jig head gives you a slower descent.

A heavier jig head gives you more casting distance and better control in deeper water or current.

Weedless

The recessed body slot makes the Split Tail Baitfish well suited to weedless and snag-resistant rigging.

Use an offset or weighted weedless hook around:

Go unweighted for a slower, more natural fall or add weight when you need distance and depth.
