How do Vibe Lures Work?

Vibes are easy to fish with. It can be as simple as casting out and reeling the lure back in. Vibe lures make more of a presence than soft plastic lures can. Soft plastic bait won't make the tight wobble that vibes make. You know it's working when you feel the vibe through the fishing line. Soft vibes work on the same principle and they work when fish want something more subtle. When you want fish to know your lure is out there use a hardbody vibe lure. How to use Vibe Lures for Fishing?

Like other hard body lures, there are several methods to use them. Keep your rod tip up but not too high. You want to feel the line vibrating but you want to be able to let the vibe sink during a pause in the retrieve. Let the rod tip down slowly when letting the vibe fall to keep slack line out and watch out for a line tick. Often fish will hit the vibe lure when it's falling. Set the hook immediately. This is why we don't want to keep the rod tip too high. You won't have leverage to set the hook properly, otherwise.

Don't forget about the rips and gutters at the beach. They are literally all around Australia. This is a great place to pick up Tailor and Whiting. There are also way fewer snags on the beach. You might also hook into a Mulloway or a big Flatty. Look for rips and nearby gutters with deeper water access. They might even be right at your feet in a metre of water. Dusk and dawn are the best times for fishing shallow gutters.

Can be fished in deep water over structure for reef fish or in the shallows. In the shallows, targeting weedy areas with open sand patches can produce Flathead and Bream.

Mangrove areas can also produce Grunters and Jacks. The occasional Snapper can be picked up around rocky shoreline outcrops.
