How It Works

1. Secure the Casting Trigger to the rod above the reel using electrical tape or cable ties.
2. Position it where your hand can comfortably hold the trigger during the cast.
3. Wrap the line around the trigger capstan. Start with two wraps and adjust as needed.
4. Hold the trigger down to secure the line.
5. Open the reel bail arm.
6. Make your cast and release the trigger at the normal release point.

Start with a lighter sinker and several controlled practice casts while you get used to the release timing.
